SmartRipper v2.41

SmartRipper is a DVD VOB file extractor (so called "DVD ripper"). The program is loaded with nice features like per-chapter splitting of VOB files, angle processing, etc. It also displays statistics such as length, size, and max/min/average bitrate for every chapter and active selection.

This Program is One of the Best Rippers arround and it has been arround for about 3 or 4 years now...The only Problems someone might have with it is Ripping a DVD with one of the Newer Bad Sector Copy protections because this Program only supports Breaking CSS Encryption but becides that it is Great and it is the Only ripper I have used were I can Rip a DVD as a Single M2V Video file and an AC3 audio file or as Just a single Vob file with Just the streams in it you want.....

This program is great and very easy to use. Highly recommended. I just got it today after reading the bad news about DVD Decrypter, and I am very satisfied with it's performance. So far so good! R.I.P. DVD Decrypter....

Re:davtuck, Mac OS 10.2.X up to 10.3.9 There is software to copy your dvds. Get a hold of mactheripper from www.versiontracker.com for free. This ripps the Video_TS files. Then use Popcorn from www.roxio.com for compression. The latter app. costs $US45.00 This software package works 95 per sent of the time.
